Indiana Jones

Genre:
this film is a adventure and action type movie. This is because of the high and low angles, characters that make up the film and the scene lighting and setting as it's mostly based in a jungle. Cuts were used in this to give a sence of what going on around them and build suspense.

Style of Acting:
Body language is a style that is used in this movie to create the feelings of the sence. The way he didn't show fear and seemed invicaible added to his character.

Props:
The whip was a main prop to the character of Indiana Jones to show how he can "do things with his bare hands" and had enough strength without having to have weapons like guns. The gold goblet/ statue resembled power and wealth that is presumed to belong to the tribe. The spiders were imbolic of the acient cave and bring fear to the readers.

Lighting:
The lighting displayed the humidity out in the jungle thought the make up, body and clothes. Once they entered the cave the feeling became ery and the temperature had dropped.

Setting:
The setting was in the jungle which resembles adventure.

Mise En Scene

This is the combination of all the visual elements within the frame.
(frame: the physical boundary that contains what the audience sees)

Ikea Ad:
This story thing was about an old lamp who was abandoned and kicked out of the home and replaced by a new lamp. It is left out in the rain on the side of the street. All of the props are very warm and cosy, the couch is earthy colours and looks comfortable. The person is also wearing warm colored clothing. The garbage bag is a prop that is brought out when the lamp is placed on the side of the street to show that the lamp is classified as trash. Orange/yellow tones of lighting are shown when inside the home to create a sence of home and comfort within the set and once it shows the outside sences on the street it turns all grey and gloomy to show loneliness and sadness.

Titanic:
The sound and props eg: doors, made the sence of suspense through out this clip. The two guys who are standing watching over the ship, they show fear through their acting once they hit the iceberg. The lighting was quite dark with little lighting except in the steam room to show the heat within that area. The steam room scene made a lot of tension once they found out about the iceberg and the actors change from all joking around to a stressful mess, lots of movement and panic fills the room.
